What could happen if numerous churches were to collaborate for a common purpose greater than promoting our individual churches? Christmas on 84th Street is the first attempt at 3 churches, joining together to create an environment where the presence of Christ is experienced and respond to the needs of those less fortunate. That’s what Christmas is all about!

Once Upon a Village
First Evangelical Free Church is the place to be to experience Bethlehem during the holidays. Walk through the ancient city's streets, alive with animals, villagers, merchants, Roman soldiers and tax collectors. Witness the baby in the manger and imagine the wonder and splendor of that holy evening, the first Christmas.  This year we added Kids with a Mission.  A place for you to purchase “stockings” for children and youth in our community.

Sounds of the Season
Come celebrate the birth of Christ through the rich tradition of Handel’s “Messiah” as performed by choral members from all three churches.  On alternating nights watch the creative stage production of “Imagine Christmas” experiencing the birth of Christ as told through contemporary dance, music and art.  Guests may also enjoy cookies, cocoa and coffee while shopping at Gifts with a Mission, where you can purchase and wrap pre-selected gifts for those in need in our community.
